About Underground Games
A big, fast library of free browser games — no downloads, no sign-up, no launcher. Open a game, it plays. Built for anyone who wants one good page of real games instead of ten sketchy sites full of popups.
Where the games come from
Every game here is embedded from the GamePix publisher catalogue, which exists specifically so sites like this can host their games legally. We rank the catalogue by GamePix's own quality score and cut the filler, so what's left is the stuff actually worth playing. Games belong to their creators — we're just the front door.
We don't copy games from CrazyGames, Poki, or anywhere that hasn't licensed them for embedding.
How we write about games
Beyond the library, we write game guides and add how-to-play notes and tips to individual game pages. The notes explain how each type of game works, what the controls and goals usually are, and the mistakes that most often end a run. They draw on each game's own description and on how its genre plays, so use the on-screen instructions in a game as the final word on its controls.
Not every game has notes yet, and we add them a few at a time, starting with the games people play most. If a game you love is missing, tell us and we will write it up.
Privacy
No account, no tracking pixels from us, no data collection. Your settings (accent colour, tab disguise, panic key) live only in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. Individual games may load their own content or analytics — that's up to each game's creator. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Privacy & quick exit
Open Settings (the gear in the top bar) for:
- Disguise this tab — makes the tab title and icon look like Google Docs, Drive, Slides, Wikipedia, or a weather page.
- Panic key — pick a key; pressing it anywhere jumps the tab straight to a URL you choose.
- Open in about:blank — reopens the site inside a blank tab so it stays out of your history, and sends the original tab somewhere boring.
Use good judgement — these are convenience and privacy tools.
