How to play Tic Tac Toe Mania
Tic Tac Toe Mania is the familiar three-by-three game of Xs and Os, which you can play against the computer or with a friend. The goal is to get three of your marks in a row, across, down or diagonally, before the other player does.
Tic tac toe is a solved game: with perfect play from both sides it always ends in a draw. That means the fun is in setting traps for a less careful opponent.
Tips for Tic Tac Toe Mania
- If you go first, start in the center or a corner. A first move on an edge gives you the weakest start.
- Look for a fork, a move that creates two ways to win at once. The opponent can only block one.
- Always check whether your opponent is one move from three in a row before you set up your own.
- If you go second and your opponent takes the center, take a corner.
