How to play Cut The Rope
Cut the Rope is a physics puzzle about feeding candy to a small green monster called Om Nom. The candy hangs from one or more ropes, and you swipe across a rope to cut it so the candy swings and drops into his mouth. Every level also has three gold stars to collect on the way, which is where the real puzzle sits.
As levels go on, new objects appear: bubbles that lift the candy up, spikes that destroy it, air cushions that push it sideways, and ropes that move. Each element changes how you plan the order of your cuts.
Tips for Cut The Rope
- Do not cut right away. Watch the candy's swing for a second to see where it will go and which stars it can reach.
- Collect the stars first, then aim for the monster. Plan the cut order backwards from the mouth.
- A rope cut late in a swing sends the candy farther than one cut early. Use that for long gaps.
- If a level feels impossible, retry it and try cutting the rope you were sure you should keep.
